During MCPS' Continuity of Learning (COL) Plan the Media Center is available 24/7 to support learning using our sizable digital collect of online resources for reading and research.ion.

Hours

Virtual Hours: 24/7

Physical space when building is open:

Monday & Friday: 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM

Students must sign in electronically when they enter the media center.  Students will need to present a hall pass (official white form) from their teacher if they are coming in during a class period.

Vision

Albert Einstein HS Media Center welcomes students and staff in a resource-rich environment that incorporates effective use of information literacy to promote and create a culture of success here at Einstein.

Mission

To serve as a pathway to student achievement, the media center program provides 24/7 access to ideas and information, helps students develop lifelong literacy skills. And facilitates production through a collaborative, welcoming environment for all students and staff. 

By working cooperatively with staff, the media center staff encourages the use of these resources, teaches students about the various media and how to use them, and contributes to the overall Goals of Education of Montgomery County and the State of Maryland.
