Act Now: Global Issues

Selecting a Topic:

Topics are the general subject they are Big and Broad and not too specific

NOTE: As you research you will narrow down the topic to focus on one specific point of view or part

Choosing a topic that you have no interest in will make the research hard and boring

Resources for Topic Selection

1. Check out Books at our library

The library has a good selection of narrative nonfiction

2. Look in the Databases (passwords)

Covering today’s hottest social issues,

from immigration to fast fashion and artificial intelligence.

This cross-curricular research database supports science, social studies, current events, and language arts classes.

Specialized topics ideal for supporting interdisciplinary research and learning.

Many databases have topic trees that can help you find an interesting topic.

These are NOT the only Databases that can help you.  Both ABC CLIO and GALE have a variety of databases that can help you to locate a topic.
